When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us including:

When you return an item to Micky Finn, we will collect the following information in order to process your return:
- Proof of Purchase Information, i.e. order number

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Website usage information is collected using Cookies (see Section 8 – Cookies).
SECTION 2 – HOW WILL WE USE THE INFORMATION ABOUT YOU?
We collect information about you to process your order and manage your account.
Email marketing (if applicable): When you provide us with your email address and opt-in to receive marketing information:
- We will email you on a regular basis with our latest deals, offers, events and voucher codes.
- We may contact you occasionally to check your data is accurate and up-to-date.
When you place an order with Micky Finn:
- We will use your email to keep you up-to-date with your delivery and order as well as email your invoice.
- We will contact you in order to meet any legal requirements and to allow you to provide feedback about our services via Trustpilot.
- We may contact you occasionally in relation to offering you further products and services we think may benefit you. You will be offered the opportunity to opt out of such contact with each communication.
- We may contact you to check your data is accurate and up-to-date.
When you return an item to Micky Finn:
- We will contact you to in order to keep you up-to-date with the progress of your return.
When you partially complete placing an order with Micky Finn:
- We may send you emails regarding items left in your basket but not purchased.
Internet advertisement delivery, including behavioural advertising e.g. displaying an advert for a product you have previously viewed.

How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, abandon checkout while placing an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using for the purposes listed in 'SECTION 2'.

What is the legal basis for processing my personal data?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase the data subject (you) has given consent to the processing.
There are legitimate reasons for the processing of data.
Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the data subject. In order to complete your order the processing of your personal data is required in order to complete the payment and arrange the delivery of the items you have ordered.
SECTION 4 - DISCLOSURE
We do not store customer credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. We may, however, disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
SECTION 5 – SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 6 - KLARNA
In order to offer you Klarna’s payment methods, we might in the checkout pass your personal data in the form of contact and order details to Klarna, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor those payment methods for you. Your personal data transferred is processed in line with Klarna’s own privacy notice

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard internet log information and visitor behaviour information. This information is used to track visitor use of the website, to compile statistical reports on website activity and to collect customer reviews.
